The "Roots & Shoots" program was established by Dr. Jane Goodall in 1991, encouraging young people from over 50 countries to make a positive impact in their communities. In Hong Kong, the "Roots & Shoots School Network" has over 130 local universities, secondary schools, primary schools, and kindergartens participating. This year, we’re launching innovative environmental education activities and workshops for schools, including English-language environmental workshops and new activities blending Chinese traditional culture. Students will explore waste reduction through traditional crafts, practicing sustainable development and contributing to the planet’s future!

From October 2025 to March 2026, we will host extracurricular learning, field trips, expert lectures, and group project design, culminating in a March finale showcase with industry experts and media. Build a dynamic network of businesses, youth, and communities dedicated to coastal conservation, educating participants about marine pollution, promoting sustainable habits, and providing schools with post-event reports summarizing impact.
